Riding lessons are available for all levels of riders from just beginning to the advanced competitive rider. Lessons are for ages 9 & up. We offer instruction for those wanting to ride for pleasure or show. We also offer small group classes for Pony Club, Girl Scouts, 4-H, etc... Our focus is primarily on showjumping, eventing, classical & western dressage & working equitation; however, all disciplines are welcome.
Lessons are taught by Level II certified biomechanics instructor/ trainer through the International Society of Rider Biomechanics Amy Vanner. Amy is currently serving as the current President of the ISRB, and certifies instructors and provides biomechanics clinics all over the world!
You can take lessons on your own horse, or use one of our well-trained lesson horses. Please allow about 30 minutes prior to your lesson for grooming, tacking, and warming up. Lessons will only be cancelled due to extreme weather, or illness of instructor or emergent situations.
We also offer lessons in ground work, natural horsemanship, and liberty work.
Cancellation policy: For emergent situations, 24 hour notice prior to lesson is preferred, if possible. We realize that sometimes there are extreme circumstances. Lessons cancelled with less that 24 hour notice are still responsible for payment of said lesson. (Emergent situations excluded.) Our schedule is flexible, and we can accommodate most schedules. If you would like to hold your lesson spot, you will need to pay to hold the spot or it will be given to another student.
