I am a dog-trainer & I was really drawn to work with Amy when I heard about some of the training methods & techniques she uses with horses. She uses methods that are fear-free, force-free and based on scientific research. All of the horses in her barn are very happy & relaxed. The barn atmosphere is very serene & quiet. It’s very much a haven in the middle of town. Amy had spent a lot of time studying how to train & motivate people to become the best that they can. Her lessons are very positive & I have always noticed progress from start to finish. I learn a lot even just from watching her teach.

I have been lucky enough to take some lessons myself. I was formerly a saddleseat rider, so there have been many things that have been different. It’s been so much fun to learn from Amy & I always look forward to my next lesson.

Amy has an amazing & very unique teaching & training style that will help you progress easily & quickly. She will break things down so they are easy to understand and fun. I can’t recommend her enough for teaching, training or boarding!
