Lesson Information

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your lesson time to prepare your horse

If you arrive late, your lesson will still end at your scheduled time

You are responsible for cleaning up after your horse, cooling out, cleaning & putting away tack, etc...

Please note that if you are late, tacking up might become part of your lesson time

Dress in comfortable pants. Breeches, jodpurs, or riding pants are preferred. For western dressage and working equitation you may wear bootcut jeans or bootcut breeches

No hoodies or loose-fitting clothing

Wedding/engagement rings permitted if you wear riding gloves. All riders are encouraged to wear riding gloves

Long hair needs to be secured with a hair tie

Paddock boots with half chaps, paddock boots with jodpur straps, or tall riding boots preferred for english riding. Western type boots are recommended for western riding. Boots must have a hard, smooth sole with a 1/2" heel. Absolutely no tennis shoes, casual shoes, hiking boots, etc... are allowed

ATSM/SEI helmets required when mounted. We have some at the farm, but riders are encouraged to provide their own
Please note, if you show up for lessons with inappropriate attire you will not be able to have your lesson & will still be responsible for payment.
